Recognized nationally as the original and leading recovery offering of its kind, CCAR’s Recovery Coach Academy© is an innovative new approach to healing people’s lives that is unlike any other training. It offers participants the once-in-a-lifetime experience to gain new knowledge, be challenged, and reap valuable rewards, providing the essential learning, tools, and resources needed to become an effective recovery coach.
A Recovery Coach is any person interested in promoting recovery by removing barriers and obstacles to recovery and serving as a personal guide and mentor for people seeking or already in recovery. Recovery coaches are individuals, who may or may not be in recovery themselves, who help people along the path of recovery—either before, during or after treatment.
The lessons taught in the CCAR Recovery Coach Academy© expand way beyond the role of recovery coach, as many graduates leave feeling a greater sense of self, solidifying their position as allies in the ever-changing recovery community.
This Academy training will be held across 5 days, Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm each day with a 30-minute lunch from 11:30-12:00 each day.
This will be our 3nd training using Zoom and I look forward to an awesome experience. Please note: Materials (Recovery Coach Manual) are provided at no charge for local (Mariposa County) residents. Once registered you will receive instructions for your manual.
