Recognized nationally as the original and leading recovery offering of its kind, CCAR’s Recovery Coach Academy is an innovative new approach to healing people’s lives that is unlike any other training. It offers participants the once-in-a-lifetime experience to gain new knowledge, be challenged, and reap valuable rewards, providing the essential learning, tools, and resources needed to become an effective Recovery Coach.
A Recovery Coach is any person interested in promoting recovery by removing barriers and obstacles to recovery and serving as a personal guide and mentor for people seeking or already in recovery. Recovery Coaches are individuals, who may or may not be in recovery themselves, who help people along the path of recovery-either before, during, or after treatment.
The lessons taught in the Recovery Coach Academy expand way beyond the role of a Recovery Coach, as many graduates leave feeling a greater sense of self, solidifying their position as allies in the ever-changing recovery community.
The Academy training will be held across five days, Monday-Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch from 11:30am-12:30pm. Lunch is not provided, please bring your own. You must attend the entire 5-day training for your certificate of completion.
Please note: Seating is limited, and registration will close when we reach capacity. Once your registration is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email along with the link to purchase your manual. Materials (including the Recovery Coach Manual) can be purchased through Amazon for $50. You must have a manual to attend.
